❋Garment Care❋
LINEN & HEMP/COTTON CANVAS:
Less is better! Spot clean when you can & consider steaming
your clothing to refresh it if it doesn't absolutely need a wash.
Hand or machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle using earth friendly detergent
Hang or lay flat to dry - DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.
We suggest steaming your garments, but you can also press with a warm iron.
Linen is a strong natural fiber, but can sometimes wear in areas of high friction like between the thighs. If you notice wear on your linen we recommend taking your piece to a tailor before the fabrics tears in order to have the area reinforced - we are more than happy to send matching fabric scraps to help with this.
Please note that linen is not meant to be worn fitted as this can increase wear. If you are concerned about this you may want to order your pants in our hemp/organic cotton canvas material as it a much more durable option.
COTTON POINTELLE:
Hand or machine wash on cold, gentle cycle using earth friendly detergent
Lay flat to dry- DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.
Steam or warm iron to press.
This knit is 100% cotton and although it does have stretch to it, it does not contain spandex which means we suggest taking some extra care to ensure your garment doesn't lose its shape over time! Avoid overstretching areas like the neckline when putting your garment on, lay flat to dry opposed to hang drying, and store your pointelle pieces folded instead of hanging.
COTTON DOUBLE GAUZE:
Hand or machine wash on cold, gentle cycle using earth friendly detergent
Lay flat to dry or tumble dry on low heat to achieve maximum crinkled look - be conscious of shrinking.
QUILTED ITEMS
Wash less - spot clean when possible.
If necessary machine wash on cold gentle cycle. Washing your quilted garments can slightly change the texture of them (think the ripple that a vintage quilt has). Lay flat to dry.
Steam or warm iron. Ironing post wash can reduce the texture change.
